1. If Trump was implicated in any child grape crimes via Epstein it would almost certainly have been selectively leaked by the Biden administration if not by Hillary and John Brennan during his 1st term (I can see that they would be too arrogant to do it during the election).

2. OTOH if Trump was using the Epstein info to blackmail his political enemies (often the cover story) I do not think he would for instance be resuming sending weapons to Ukraine given how much not only his supporters but he himself probably personally hate Ukraine.

So the most likely explanation is the CIA (or maybe the Mossad) have the real Epstein blackmail information and Trump's people never had it and don't have it now. But that begs the question WHY WOULD THEY CLAIM THAT THEY HAD IT. Also resuming sending stuff to the hated globohomo state of Ukraine at the same time you officially claim there never was an Epstein list and that Epstein killed himself is a fucking horrible look.
