I been to Hong Kong several since my fiancée lives there, and everything was cheap (even where eating out three times a day is as cheap as buying groceries), really clean for a major city, there was essentially no crime, everything was orderly, and as long as you don't say anything political (even though they hate the CCP), you won't be bothered by the authorities.
