I got fired, in the UK for what I said about US politics when asked by the audiologist (they quit the job so I got the blame). The amount of TDS is insane, I don't suck off Trump but you have to admire someone that survives an assassination attempt or two. Castro survived many, I don't agree with his politics but that's a very admirable position to be in, you keep your head up in adversity.

That's exactly what I do now too, scrubbing toilets and working temp jobs to keep afloat because I said the truth. There isn't freedom of consequence for free speech, anon; these people are fucking insane and they have the whip in hand if they want to fuck you over. Hide your power level.

I couldn't rent places because everyone wanted to see my vaccine passport.
I was fired from my job because I could no longer attend the office.
I was barred from going to stores. They had "guards" who would check that your vaccine passport was current before letting you in.
I was locked in my house and wasn't allowed out while vaccinated people were. $5,000 fine for leaving my front door.
I wasn't even able to get a haircut for like 2 years, just because the government said barbers and hairdressers are high-risk covid hotspots.
I lost friends and family because they thought I was insane and would laugh at me behind my back. And sometimes tell me they did so, just to try and shame me into getting the vax.

Life was absolute hell in Australia for the unvaccinated, and I will never, ever forgive the people of this country for doing that to me. I have zero loyalty to this country now and I wish a slow and painful death on all those who played into this fucking bullshit.

Seeing this play out in real time shattered my faith in humanity.

I haven't lost any friends being right wing, most of my friends are female, including liberals and even a marxist. Interestingly the marxist friend (who is otherwise very intelligent) is the most open to national socialist ideas. I can explain my views in a calm and rational way without spewing hate, and I also present myself well. People are intimidated by right wingers I think because we have no representation in mass media. They do not understand what we think and find us intriguing.
