It was easily accessible porn for the pussified generation that had to hide their wank material away from the wife in their mancave.
But then sex online became easy to find and your average teenage girl on the street dresses more provocatively than a 90's stripper.
There's the metoo bullshit too that no one wants to deal with.

I can't stand love scenes in movies. They're a waste of time. If you can't create a bond between people with conversation and other forms of affection, a love scene won't save you.
They're for women.
