It doesn't seem legally viable to me to revoke citizenship from people already born here who already had it recognized and were being treated as citizens up to this point. It's functionally "common law citizenship." What country would they be a citizen of? Would they need to pay back taxes to that country now? It doesn't seem feasible to deport a person who doesn't have a country they can be deported to if that country won't accept them.
