I don't think Americans realize how ripped off they are on car insurance. Full coverage in USA cost $2600/year and in Germany only $493/year and in UK only $790/year and not to mention Germans/etc make more per year than we do, truly the average American makes like $26,000/year so we pay 10% in insurance just on 1 vehicle, more if you have 2. It's awful here.
