the narrative of the night of his death is super incredibly sus though (he was on a fully staffed yacht, which included full-time sentries and bodyguards, none of whom heard anything when he supposedly had a heart attack and fell off his boat, nor did they notice he was missing for several hours, nor did they report the incident for several more hours, nor did they involve the authorities after that, and by the time they found Maxwell's body he was supposedly so chewed up by fish that he was unrecognizable
personally i'm most curious about the men he had dinner with in the hotel before he left on his final yacht cruise (iirc, from rabat? or casablanca?). i don't think those details have ever been made public.
