Are the neetbux sustainable? Will you always get enough to pay your needs?
Do you mind the social shaming and isolation that comes from being branded a "loser" and "parasite" and that women will view you as a non-viable male?
I'm not personally attaching these judgements to you; the reality is everyone dies, we make the meaning, we decide what matters, nothing lasts, and things will progress as they do in accordance with forces both vast and infinitely small yet all almost entirely outside our control.
It doesn't REALLY matter what anyone does. That said, it's a question of whether your choices now for what may be short term happiness will end up in long term unhappiness.
It's reasonable, fair, valid, whatever to want to take a break; school is super fucking stressful, you went through all that pain only to be humiliated starting at the bottom of the bottom wrung, now you're being told you have to "pay your dues" (eat shit) for x years because the guy above you ate shit for x years and "that's just how it goes" or something.
A career, which is to say if you're doing something you like that matters to you that you're good at, can be immensely rewarding.
A job is not rewarding, a job by definition is something someone pays you to do because it sucks too much for them to do it and they'd rather just give away some money rather than go through the pain of it.
A career is a little different in that you're potentially making bigger moves, influencing larger systems, doing things that influence a lot of people, you're bringing your will to bear and honing your expertise (I'm talking vaguely because there are lots of different careers where this applies) but if you give up now, you'll never even be given the chance to start to climb Mount Olympus again, you'll be down win the groundlings.
