Even the ones who look cute when they're young usually have a genetic timebomb that's waiting to go off. I dated a Jewish girl in her early 30's for a few years. She was reasonably cute but her mom was a hideous, hunched-over roly-poly hag troll Vogon-looking motherfucker with immaculate clothing. Her dad wasn't Jewish and he was good looking for being an old dude. I was like "Man, he must have loved her a lot because he could have done better".
Skip forward to like a year and a half into the relationship. Big, lowkey gettogether at the parents house. My girlfriend and I grab a couch in one of the rooms and she whips out the family photo albums I'd never seen. Starts flipping the pages and it's all black and white photos of pretty stunning young Jewish ladies. They all have the full lips, big eyes thing going on, just like my gf. She points to one beautiful lady and offhandedly says "And of course that's mom." I stop her for a sec and take a long look at the pic. It looks NOTHING like her mom, it looks like my gf. We go through another photo album of more recent pictures. She starts naming all the people in it and I catch some of the names and all the lovely women have either become mannish at best or fat, Jewish-caricature sewer trolls like her mom.
I put two and two together. Over the next few weeks I take a good look at my gf and admit to myself she's starting the transformation to skunk ape, too. 3-4 months later, I gaslight her into a breakup and which makes her feel terrible. She sends me handwritten letters for a year afterward but I don't open any of them. Around eight years after that, she shows up as a new-hire at a job I'm working in healthcare. She's gained about 40+ lbs and since she's barely over 5 feet tall she looks like an ugly hamplanet. She wound up quitting about a month after getting hired so I didn't really talk to her much except for work stuff.
