If I was Jewish I think I would feel very safe, generally speaking, despite being a minority. It would be nice to know that people in high places have my back and that people like me would have an affinity for me just because of a shared ethno-religious-linguistic heritage. Sometimes I wish I was a jew. They took my foreskin.

All of the people who have hurt me and caused me the most trauma in my life were the same race and religion and spoke the same language as me. I don't feel safe around any of my countrymen. They make me feel like a fucked up Jewish outcast. They lie about me, they ignore me when I need help, they disrespect me, they steal from me, they threaten violence towards me, they harass me, etc. I genuinely hate my race. In some ways it's easier being a minority because at least you don't have to feel the hurt of betrayal. The saddest thing is I'm too fucked up and broken to live in a utopia even if it was offered to me. The damage is done. I am become boomer.
