Can time be observed without matter? Can matter be observed without time? This is political because the implications are numerous.

>Can time be observed without matter?
No because there's nothing that could be seen. This doesn't mean that it isn't still going though, it's just invisible.
>Can matter be observed without time?
No because time is required for the light to reach your eyes unless I suppose time was flowing before but then suddenly stopped after the light had done so.

they carry energy but can not change speed, when they interact with matter they can transfer energy to a particle by different effects

If it's just a matter of pure energy transfer then why does light not slow down? Where is this energy coming from?

matter can not reach the speed of light because to accelerate to it you would require infinite energy, its at the constant speed always why I do not know
they transfer no velocity because they have zero kinetic energy as in the energy part that would cause an opposite direction on impact according to newton is zero

Matter is matter. Time isn't real, only movement of matter. Time is only a word we use to describe our perception of the movement of matter. Time exists to us because our brains' have a memory encoding and recall capability. If temperature drops to absolute zero time doesn't exist because movement doesn't exist so the matter in question might as well be eternally changeless, frozen in time

So like I said, if there's no mass to convert to energy, and the speed remains constant, where is the motion they impart into an object when they strike it coming from?

you'll balk at it, but the truth is that time doesn't exist. To put it as simple as possible, we're sort of in a painting in someone else's wall. Not literally, but picture this. Our reality is a painting, and in that painting is everything that will ever be. IT's there, as a static painting on someone's wall and they see when you were 5, and when you were 55, and when the cosmos was "born", and for them, it's all one moment, one event, and it happened instantly and once. A snapshot, in a way.

But to you, as someone within that snapshot, it was a progression. You see what was drawn for you, not what the whole picture is.

So I would postulate that light does in fact have mass and the energy comes from that mass being converted into energy, and that the speed of light is not infinite because of this tiny mass (it is just the smallest mass that can exist). Perhaps a very very tiny mass that is below the resolution of our current sensors to detect, but it is why it is affected by gravity and can power a solar sail in space by striking it.
