This is a house you can afford to build. And...it's fucking epic actually. Thoughts? This image is AI but it gets the idea across. Concrete floor, cinder block walls, wooden beams holding a metal roof, aka a warehouse house. My next post will be another style of house cheap to build. Get in here.

This next style of house only applies to areas where it is warm all year round. It's essentially a screened in pavilion with amenities, or you could say it's like having your entire house be a screened in porch, with a metal roof over it. What's to stop anyone from buying 0.5 acres of land and building either of these type of houses on it?

I met a guy who lives in a warehouse much like my OP pic. He purchased it next to the train tracks because it used to be used by the train company. He bought it, pressure washed the bitch off and furnished it, and now it's very cozy and awesome. Train only goes through once per day. He got it cheap.

Ops house you will die from heat exhaustion on the first warm day, and also the first mild winter day will die of hypothermia. You need $30,000 worth of spray foam insulation to make Op's deathtrap building survivable.

An insulated tin roof only works if you are in a little shack with walls missing, like they have in the worlds poorest countries, otherwise it will heat up to extreme temperatures very quickly.

Yes building a house is actually very easy if you're not trying to have a giant mcmansion. The problem is getting it approved. There are often minimum square footage rules, the further away you get from cities though the better the regulations usually are.

You can build that, then build a larger house behind it over time. My idea is to build a house like in Skyrim. You start with a tinyhouse, then that becomes the foyer to a larger house behind it. I'll probably do a barndo or rammed earth build.

There is a reason when people finish an unfinished concrete basement they frame it with 2x4s and then throw up drywall. A layer of insualtion in between and also a place to run your wires. This extra step unfucks part of what OP got so horribly wrong. Do the same for the ceiling and make an attic with sophets to vent the heat.

Unfuckign everything maskes it... a house.

it would not be legal if that were the case
however, code enforcement officers don't go door to door on a regular basis
if bills are paid and nothing obviously annoying on the outside that breaks an obvious code

there is however a chance the city will deem the are obsolete and vacate your ass for new construction though since its not residential
you will have no say in the matter
you're better off living on someone elses large property and building your home there, secondary buildings are allowed in such large properties

Lots of windows and very drafty to vent the heat, and the front porch became the family gathering spot for 2/3 of the year. People even slept on the porch because inside homes it would be too hot.

As for winter they buried themselves in layers of clothing. That old school red long underwear you always see in old cartoons? That is how people survived winter in their homes. 3 layers of clothing and then blankets and a lot of firewood or heating oil. Pipes would freeze routinely but they would survive the night.

Room temperature could be 34F or 116F. They just didnt stay inside when they didn't have to.

Also that's just bricks. Iron reinforced cinderblocks are an improvement on standard brick and mortar, because just bricks alone aren't that stable. Straight up Legos with no bonding agent between them would not be stable enough, it would fall down like Lego structures easily do. The closest thing would be bricks though, it already is easy to build things. I see stone and mortar buildings still standing from 200+ years ago. That's just fucking rocks and cement. This โ€œwarehouse houseโ€ looks cool and cheap but has major issues:

No insulation = unbearably hot in summer, freezing in winter

Moisture problems = mold risk and condensation

Echo chamber acoustics = bad for daily living

Unfinished interior = not cozy or livable long-term

May not meet building codes = likely illegal as a home

No visible bathroom = not functional without major upgrades

Youโ€™d need insulation, HVAC, a finished ceiling, and a bathroom to make it workโ€”raising costs fast.

I think it's perfect for cold climate roo, a small house with a screened in pavilion is how I invisioned a perfect home. Core home being a dome even better.

A screened in porch should be a must, and with steel and strong screens it can even withstand high impact and even bears can't breach it.
Safety within outdoors and nature, cooking ect... bugs and animals, even in urban enviroments against robbers it can do a great job.

Labs and Nukes will still fuck us up though, no screens will help with that!

I don't understand why you must have it always look like shit?

This is how Mexicans live. This is how Bolvian farms live.

You're white. You don't have to choose the lowest common denominator when building. There's cheaper options that will look better.

Use stones or bricks instead of cinder block. The cost is roughly the same, maybe even cheaper.

And look fellas, building a home is relatively cheap and inexpensive. What's gonna cost you shit loads are the land, permits, inspections, plumbing and roofing. I'm not opposed to a tin roof, just cause it's so affordable and gets the job done. But everything else about getting started is going to cost a ton. Not only that, but Jews have a building code for all buildings around the world. If you don't use their approved methods, your house is deemed unlivable.

This setup is fine in a third world country, but for a tiny bit more you could build something better. Long story short is that'll never happen because of Jews.

Foam on the exterior of cinderblock? Thatโ€™s barely effective unless youโ€™re doing rigid board with proper moisture barriers, adhesives, mechanical fasteners, and weather shielding. Otherwise it just warps, cracks, or gets waterlogged.
Proper insulation means closed-cell spray foam inside the walls or rigid XPS board with sealed framing.
Foam pads โ‰  thermal envelope. Theyโ€™re not a substitute for vapor barriers, drainage planes, or proper air sealing. Youโ€™re trying to dry out a house thatโ€™s leaking moisture from every thermal bridge and joint.
Run a dehumidifier in a hot cinderblock box with a metal roof and no HVAC?
Thatโ€™s called sweating, not solving.

I got a metal shed I keep geese in and it has insulation between the metal roof and interior. I can see the bottom of the metal roof, but different areas, different needs.

If he was in California you only really need a heater right? Maybe not even that.

But yes, birds are going to be coming into his living space then.
Racoons.
Squirrels
Maybe bears depending on area.

It's wild people are coping that living in a structure worse than my water fowl house is like owning the industry or some weird win.

Their quality of life is diminished. Simple as.
This is literally what I did before I became a woods leftist.
Construction and butchery.

Capitalist efficiency.

The transportation costs, production cost, and warranty repair/labor involvement if 1 block fails at the bottom of your stack make it a ridiculous idea.

You could build 5 stick frames for the same price.

I used the Styrofoam blocks with a concrete pour 1 time on a straw bale house and I will never again.
They shift, the Styrofoam blows out, it's a huge pain in the ass.

The straw bale stuff was the same way, 1 mouse inside the wall and your house is destroyed. You can run any wiring and basically it's built as is. You can't do any renovations.

A lot of people on the us buy houses as investments and if you can't slap a deck onto it and resell it for a 10k profit people don't give one shit.

in the province of British Columbia they've passed legislation that allows "people" to build multi-plex buildings (townhouses to apartments) in literally every neighbourhood ---- ensuring that there will be no neighbourhoods that are just family neighbourhoods.

nice stable neighbourhoods where kids grow up knowing their neighbours and so on are turned into housing densification zones where the neighbour's house is torn down and replaced with a never-ending flood of single men who have no desire to be part of a family neighbourhood ...and if they ever do, well there won't be any.

turd world tin shack roof no insulation, no subfloor. Shanty town crap, no fire escape rar door. Boiling in summer, freezing in winter yet most of the cost of a real home if even the foundations floor and walls are done right.

this. You're dealing with humans.

wtf do anons think is going to happen when they encounter (or are visited by) a working class wagie living pay to pay while they are living a cozy life of frugalism and neat hacks that save your sanity and wallet? what do you think that person will do? think they're gonna forget about you? remember this is likely someone in a position of power. That you need a cert from or some shit so that you can live in your house.

Next day there are cops at your door and a sticker on your front door. Condemned.

If you want to live that life you have to be smart about it. You have to pretend that you are a fellow wagie and you have a 30 year loan for the $30k house you paid cash for. You work long hours from home for a boss that hates you and your wife left you for a black guy. etc. etc.

Yes, styrofoam.
>Thatโ€™s barely effective unless youโ€™re doing rigid board with proper moisture barriers
No you literally don't need any vapor barriers for external insulation.
>adhesives, mechanical fasteners, and weather shielding.
Yes? Glue (its like cement) over all styrofoam, reinforcement glass fiber mesh and glue over that again. Then there's some acrylic stucco shit that goes over that which lasts a few decades if maintained.
Absolute cheapest insulation and facade system but it's quite effective. Can also do that with mineral wool boards instead.
>Otherwise it just warps, cracks, or gets waterlogged.
Clearly you know nothing about external insulation the actual problem with exposed foam is that it fucking disintegrates rapidly if exposed and stops insulating.
>Proper insulation means closed-cell spray foam inside the walls
Insulation should be as far outside as possible ideally to avoid condensation bullshit. Why do you think when a brick wall goes over it there needs to be a ventilation cavity, that's why.

Yep, it's trivial to build a cheap house, but regulators won't let you build anything that's not to code. Here if you want to do anything custom you'd need an engineer to sign off on it. Which is expensive on its. Plus it ensures it has to be fireproofed and all that. Then even if you build it they may prohibit you from living in it .

It's actually yet another scam to force you to use their price-controlled supply chains for materials instead of using local materials like happened for thousands of years

It's mainly ambience or feel. Bedrooms are small and a little claustrophobic unless it's a mansion. An open plan means every "room" you're in is huge.

What makes it viable is everyone lives alone, which is kind of sad. If there are two adults and three kids there's no privacy and no peace and quiet for anyone.

If you were to counterfeit US money, you would effectively be stealing a very small amount from the US citizens as a whole. Itโ€™s morally wrong because youโ€™re taking value without providing a good or service. It causes a small bit of inflation which is devaluation of the currency.

When the Jew owned Federal Reserve does it by the $trillions, they are stealing significant amounts of wealth from the citizens. They are essentially printing their own counterfeit money and spending it, which is stealing from the citizens as a whole. They may use the money to buy 300,000 private houses (Blackstone/Blackrock) to rent to goyim who canโ€™t afford to buy. This repeats until the Jews own everything in 2030.

Eventually the Jews will own everything as the Talmud predicts. Their wealth increases and yours deceases to infinity.

How does that make you feel you dirty goyim?

>By a continuing process of inflation, government can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. - John Maynard Keynes
