my great grandfather. He was in ww2 as a mechanic. He married a widow and raised her children. He followed his step children to this foreign country to help them instead of retiring. He outlived my great grandmother and kept high spirits for his great grandchildren. He worked right up until his body and senses gave out. incredibly red pilled. Returned to his home town to be with his war friends where he ultimately passed away.
I was just a dumb kid back then so he was only ever grandpa to me, I wish I had honored him better. Though I think that he wouldn't have wanted me to bother, to just be a normal kid, everything turned out exactly as he wanted.
