Of course they are eternal children. But think of it in terms of value to children. Children benefit from a parent who's closer to their level. Emotionally most of all, but also on other levels. So women fulfill that perfect link between adults and children.

Not really a gendered thing, men are also just not maturing anymore. I watch grown men have infantile tantrums on an almost daily basis, latching onto whatever reliable figure they can find. Multiple generations conditioned into dependency.
We bias our opinions on people by their appearance but people tend to remain almost exactly the same beyond their early teens.

Korean advertising and culture means they get more popular support from simps and advertising companies and men and women by acting in a certain way. This is the same for Japan and China as well. Their culture thrives on cute and this is obvious from how they advertise their girls on line and in social media. That is their beauty standards. You can reference white, western models and see them act and carry and decorate themselves in the eastern framework under this model. Some women actually grow up early and can be rather intelligently switched on if you know them personally, especially those who come from a poorer background where they have to work to survive. They're extremely pragmatic to the point. However I still want to beat women.

i think that is a quirk of language, it is my understanding that children where just called girls because they looked all the same, lice prevention and simple cloths like dresses prevented much difference between the sexes in the early years, but womanhood came and a push from family elders to get either more food on the table or less mouths created a divide so boys would change their attire to signal a readiness to provide coming into manhood. women having proven to have good hygiene would let their hair grow longer. i am pulling this from my butt, but it hangs nicely on my understanding of early life and frontier stories.
