Hey \POL\ this is actually my first post! Hola mi internet friendos!
I really love this communities insight!
I’ll say, I’ve always loved movies and I guess I’ve noticed that my favorites often included “hard boiled “, rough and tumble characters. Over the years I’ve developed a sixth sense, as one may put it , on weeding out pretty boy actors merely reciting their lines (Tom Hanks etc), vs those that bring a certain authenticity to sometimes unseemly roles in mob/gang type movies (think Joe Pesci, he had real mob guy experience!)
I’m Looking for recommendations on movies featuring real ones, so to speak, authentic modern thespians like Shia Labeouf, Miles Teller, Sean Penn and or other Italian Americans (woops, sorry for the semi- racist stereotype….but me thinks I’m noticing a *trend* among my faves lol) What say you Pol? Who are some other raw and real actors that seem like they could both deliver a Shakespeare soliloquy as well as hold their own in Street fight?
