I'll give you my most precious personal revelation and one universal. Im divorced with two children. It was a time of suffering for me immensely so (much of it my own fault with sin though I didn't realize at the time). Why did I have to suffer what purpose could this divorce serve? I didn't see it. I prayed about it often. Without the divorce decree if we were married but fighting she could have just legally taken them to get that vax. The suffering had many purposes and that was one of them.
