It can be, depends on the situation.
For example if nukes are simply non functional at this point, keeping the idea of them being a threat alive is still a better alternative compared to the subject of a hot war being on the table.
However the idea of shitskins being in any way equal to real humans or being able to live in human societies, is a falsehood that may keep their mass culling off the table, but it sure as hell isn't preferable to the truth long term.
