Had a sad experience with a younger female manager(20) at a sonic. She was teaching me the ordering console and made a comment about how she didn't have to memorize something about the menu. I truly thought she meant she didn't have to memorize it because she was an asst. manager now, focusing on other things. I said to her "okay managerr" in like a "I see you" kind of way ,in response to that. What I know she meant now, was that the ordering console had all the necessary information in it already, like if someone forgot. I meant no disrespect and yeah, I could've clarified what she meant in the moment to correctly respond better. They terminated me that night. Maybe she was projecting because I was older than her and kinda knew my stuff already? She also said me nodding and saying "okay" to feedback was "short". Like dude, im trying to learn the stuff here, im focused. What do you want me to say?
Just annoyed and frustrated, back to homeless neetdom.

women are the pettiest people in the workplace. You don't even have to do anything wrong, if they even get the feeling that you slighted them, they will escalate the situation to the highest possible powers. It's been absolutely painful, but more so now. Both of my civilian jobs since leaving the army have been plagued with issues similar to this. My theory is that the women I've had issues with are mad that I don't respect them as my superiors, because they aren't. They feel entitled to respect because they've been in the business longer than me, and they're older than me. I don't respect them because they're actually not very smart, and since they aren't my superiors but try to order me to do the job their way, instead of the right way. Some sort of power play dynamic, but you can spot the type so easily. Its typical of lower enlisted getting kicked out for drug abuse or other offenses, they will try to teach new pvts their cancerous ways of thinking, and my experience in the military made it super easy to spot

I had a female manager get extremely mad at me after pointing out that she and a couple of the employees clocked in and then grabbed breakfast at the employee cafeteria, while the rest of us ate breakfast and then clocked in. Both her and her daughter in the coming days became personally abusive for no valid reason. When she yelled at me on my lunch break after eavesdropping on the conversation I was having with my buddy, I walked off the job on the spot. It taught me how petty and vindictive women can be. When men get butthurt, they just get grumpy and avoid talking to you as much as possible. They don't try to ruin your life in revenge for feeling offended.

Considered what future? I worked the best jobs that would hire me. I saved what I could. Eventually cars break down. I never used drugs or alcohol. Between rentals I was homeless and which resulted in me losing my jobs. Once for missing work due to homeless trying to find a place for my stuff, second time I had to quit as only place I could find was too far for me to get to the job. 3 times I went homeless because the owner just decided they didnt want to rent anymore. Each because they made what money they wanted off me, and wanted their place back. No place would let me sign a lease, as I had no credit history, and homeless. Being homeless forced me to live off what savings I did manage to get for hotel rooms and transportation to find places and new jobs. No one will hire you if youre a smelling ungroomed mess

What I learned for working in my 20s is:

I was studying to become a personal trainer at the time and just went into that and haven’t looked back, met my fiancee at my next job at a gym, much more rewarding job and isn’t soulless work/control how many hours you want.

Some jobs suck others are great, do something you enjoy if possible, makes life much better. Also don’t work for asshole/take shit from employers if possible, have money saved so your not spreading your ass to keep your job since your poor
