Why did he alienate a majority of his base /pol/?
the_donald / patriots dot win is in catastrophe mode. The mods are trying their hardest to distract from the Epstein blunder but if you go and read the threads the comment sections are rife with discontent over Trump's betrayal. The mods and shills tried throwing Bongino, Patel and Bondi under the bus but many of them are pointing the finger at their leader himself.
This storm has been brewing for a while, but it seems the trifecta of striking Iran for daddy netanyahu (+ MIGA tweet), the BBB (+flipflopping on deporting illegals) and insisting Epstein case had no foul play was enough to pit magats against each other.
Now that he fractured his base and alienated a major portion of his Day 1s, how does he honestly expect to maintain his mandate come midterms? I don't expect these people to suddenly vote democrat, but rather to sit out of voting, especially in key swing states, while the Democrats and left as a whole are trying to form a unified front against Republican control of congress.
He's fucked isn't he?
