Capitalism can pair with other systems (culture, religion, government) to form a complete society. The issue is that capitalism can be chaotic and unruly and there's always a dynamic between the economic laws and societal pressure.
An absolute hereditary monarchy with an powerful church could implement a Capitalist economic system. When the chaotic dynamics of capitalism cause trouble, the moral guidance of the church can identify the problem, which could be solved by a wise, pious King.
With communism, everything is communism. The religion is communism. The government is communism. The economic system is communism. The political system is communism. Everything is ideological. Anything that seems like an exception is either fake lies, or the undeniable fact that communism can't produce wealth and so has to rely on stealing wealth from capitalist systems.
