American tourists are not killed in Russia like they are in other "safe" countries, yet the American government tells me that they want to kill me. What is the truth?

Russians and Americans are bros.
Europeans see both of us as mutts, regarding Americans as mixed with blacks and Russians as mixed with Asians. Europeans look down on both Americans and Russians for being racially impure and inferior.
Also, both the US and Russia have a frontier history of rugged expansion. Both countries grew as pioneers settled new frontiers, with Americans moving eest, to the Pacific Ocean, and Russians moving east, to the Pacific Ocean. Russian expansion occurred a few centuries before American expansion did, as Russia is an older country, and it took longer, since more land was added and technology wasn't as advanced in the 1500s as it was in the 1800s during the main phase of American westward expansion, but the frontier history marks both the American and Russia culture.
Americans and Russians should divide the world between our two country, and, specifically, we should divide up Europe again, with America getting the West and Russia getting the East.
Euros will always hate us both, so we might as well screw with them.
