Interstate is impressive as everything in The States. But it is a very big country. Hell Texas took forever to drive, and it do become difficult to maintain all of that to make it perfect.
You can maintain it and rebuild it, but it needs a whole different way of thinking and doing from politicians both on federal and state level. I honestly think the solution to it is far simpler than people think. Instead of having politicians as majors, governors and presidents, put people in charge that are actually real people with backrounds and something to show for. Its the same shit we have over here. Basically unlimited money but government and state have zero clue how to spend money the right way to maintain shit. Money disappear into the system and consultancy firms before they even start building.
But it is amazing over there. And infrastrucuture is amazing. It is just that money need to be poured into it so it wont fall apart.
