Weed is such a small commodity. Just like alot of these other industries. Realistically theres no reason that people can't just grow their own weed or why companies cant just mass manufacture thc concentrate. Thc is basically a waste product. It would be practically worthless if it wasn't so heavily monopolized. You don't need a huge industry to synthesize a chemical and knowing the food industry if it was an open market they would genetically modify bacteria to produce it in large quantities for mass consumption. But no they need an overcomplicated supply chain to manipulate people for their own purposes. The "weed" industry is basically just a government run drug cartel. No wonder ice went after them.
