The problem with higher education isn't the amount that Universities charge for tuition, it's the amount of time that they take from you. Countries with completely free higher education have among the lowest birth rates in the world.
There is nothing wrong with the existence of demand in the housing market. Housing prices are out of control in the US bc we have taken extensive measures at multiple levels of government to limit the supply of housing, particularly the most cost effective middle-density/mixed-use types of housing.
I hate progressives bc they are a mix of economically illiterate and suicidally sympathetic. They place every minority on a golden throne and refuse to accept basic truths about the inherent capabilities of obviously superior groups, (Europeans, Men, East Asias, etc).
