I have the same experience. Most republicans I know (friends, coworkers, neighbours) have all told me they regret voting for Trump. He promised lower egg prices, and instead got us into a trade war with our allies, women's and LGBTQ+ rights abolished, a billionaire has seized control of private citizen's data and federal funds, our military is about to invade Gaza (so much for no new wars lel), he's appointed literal traitors to his cabinet, armed ICE agents are raiding schools and children's hospitals, and EGG PRICES HAVENT GONE DOWN.
I know it's hard to admit you're wrong, but Trump is literally one of the biggest mistakes in American history.

Re-industrialization is only possible by importing millons of third world proletariats, used to long working hours and repetitive work.

If Trump is serious about "making america great again" (i.e. re industrialization), he has to drop the anti-immigrant stuff.

This shows the discrepancies between the capitalist mode of production and the nation-state which emanates from the very same capitalist mode of production. The relationships of production (i.e. society who is opposed to mass imigration) enter in contradiction with the mode of production (capitalism, which need armies of over exploited workers)

There is a thriving industry in fake / stolen documents for illegal workers. Everyone knows they are illegal but they have the "paperwork" to avoid the massive fines. (wink wink nod nod)

The only time a business ever gets fined is when they are too arrogant and put the fake document office at the same address as the business, then they can't claim that they didn't know they were illegal.
There was jew who did this at his kosher meat packing plant. He was only caught because they were investigating him for embezzling millions of dollars (from other jews), and found the fake documents office at the meat packing plant.
(They eventually dropped the "hiring illegals" charges, and then later Trump pardoned him for embezzling. What a lucky jew.)
