Now, kids are:

But every single one of them is like this "aspirational" badass with tattoos, piercings, shit my generation never did. Oh, you got a faggy nose ring? Some kid would rip it off your face in the hall at school just for fun. Shit like that is a liability in any fight. Tattoos make you more identifiable later when your running from a scene.
I've concluded that all of this is Gen Z cope. They want to be badasses like we were, but they've been sheltered their entire lives and don't know how.
