Mesoamerica most likely was founded by phoenicians who were world best sailors at the time, which explains the similar pyramid architecture to that of Egyptians, and their settlements can be tracked pretty much everywhere including Scandinavia. The carthageans already discovered south Africa and india far before the dutch.
