in the binary of "good V evil" in this war Russia are unequivocally evil. Even the perennial contrarians /pol/ supported Ukraine for the first month or so before the shills could gain some footing.
Russia embarrassed themselves firstly by invading another country, secondly for believing their own propagandists that Ukraine would just topple like a house of cards, and thirdly by showing what a paper tiger the rissian military is.
Ukraine has never had such national unity and NATO has been utterly invigorated. Russia did not want either of these things to happen.

Russia could have boots in kyiv and zelensky dead, and they'd still be hampered by trained and experienced veterans who will give their lives to see dead Russians on Ukrainian soil. there will be no end to conflict unless Russia leaves
