The retarded thing about the carnivore diet is these people eat exactly like a carnivore wouldnโ€™t. First of all, ribeye doesnโ€™t exist without modern agriculture. These animals are all fed high processed vegetables, starches, and grains and then fattened up with hormones and chemicals to make them tasty. Then they go and cover the shit in highly processed butter, totally stripped of all the natural stuff and filled with iodized table salt. They only eat the parts of an animal or animal products that an actual carnivore wouldโ€™ve eaten the least and then they go and eat the most processed version of that with absurd amounts of fat added for no reason.

Personally, Iโ€™ve had enormous success switching to a high carb low fat diet consisting mainly of fruits and rice. I think the reason for that is because Iโ€™ve never been able to stick to a diet. When I would do keto or carnivore or just try to eat only healthy whole foods, I inevitably ended up craving garbage like Pop-Tarts and Oreos and eventually caving. When I eat mostly high carb via fruits and rice, I still cave because I canโ€™t diet for shit but what I crave and cave on is no longer Pop-Tarts but rather a sirloin or an avocado.

In my mind, a diet thatโ€™s almost entirely fruit with a bit of sirloin is probably way better than a diet thatโ€™s mostly sirloin with a bit of Oreos. The scale shows that too. Iโ€™ve lost 50 lbs of fat.

The issue isn't the meat itself, it is how the meat is persevered with nitrates/nitrites. Hemoglobin in the blood combined with these at high heat create N-nitosalmines which cause colon cancer. Best to minimize processed meats. There is another carcinogen when you caramelize sugary bbq sauce as well.

Organic is generally better but what really matters is if you eat fruit and vegetables at all. If the decision is between non-organic or not eating fruit and vegetables at all, non-organic is still better.
There are some people on /pol/ that claim you shouldn't eat any fruits and vegetables because of the pesticides/gmos but studies on health outcomes still show better health outcomes despite them, that's all I'm saying.

Over here man, they spray so many damn chemicals directly on the veggies that it's debatable if better to eat them regularly. Higher fiber intake has also been shown to reduce colorectal cancer risk.

My grandmother was a godly woman, she only ever ate fish, once a week, but never meat. She lived to 108 and was fresh in the head and talked wittier and faster than my sister does now at 28. Meat is murder, not only in the literal sense, but also in the sense that you murder yourself when eating it.

She mostly ate potatoes/sauerkraut/beets/carrots/dairy products/ apples/pears/plums but almost never meat

That's a case where you need a steady but lower need for energy so I can see that working out. I don't think we'll see people on keto in soccer for example, mainly because you need to be able to sprint and that's when your muscles will most likely give in. Even just with lifting weights people complain about becoming weaker on keto unless they consume more carbs (it's actually recommended).
