Fuck me, even if I don't agree with the group around the statue that must have been legitimately entirely terrifying. Outnumbered, fire all around you, small fights breaking out. I think one tiki ended up spilling oil and caused a small fire and panic, but it was a long time ago.

Then when the police come they drive everyone out in a raid line with impunity, no regard for sides, pushing them all into each other. It was a fucking mess.
