That 1000 year 'dark age' was really the Millennium Reign of Christ. We are in 'Satan's little season' and thus Satan is running the show thus we dont get the truth of that thousand years let alone that we're in his little season. Look up videos on youtube if you're curious.

I personally don't believe the many 'little season' believers who tie things in with Tartaria and what not but rest of the theory seems plausible. Also look up 70AD and what was recorded in history. Then compare notes with Matthew 24. Second coming really could have happened thus we missed the thousand year reign and why we have no recorded history of that thousand years of 'dark age' conveniently missing from man's history.

The Scientific method was actually invented during that time, the use of slaves shrank, technology improved.
Rome was actually holding us back technologically because of their reliance on slaves and their dominant greek philosophy which said you didn't have to experiment, you only had to use reason... which is completely false.

And? So did Rome. So did Greece, hence "Aristotlean."

And that's just for the Western Empire. The Eastern Empire/Byzantines lasted throughout that whole time, were Christian, and dropped the Greek philosophy and started advancing in science and technology as well.

The mythical concept of a "dark age" was just that, a myth. Which is why you never hear a real historian call it that and only pop-history stuff.
