Not true at all.
Persian, Indian and east Asian ethnic divisions from 1500 years ago still exist today. There's no reason to believe white or black people would completely merge in the next 1000.
Also if humans colonize space rather than merging into one grey blob we would end up splitting into all kinds of new types of people adapted to different gravity levels.

Whites are the only ones who actually care about the environment and really try to make the best of our ressources.
Through the generations of civilizations we have learned to cooperate, be respectful and considerate of each other, generally have more empathy than non whites, which makes for a much higher qualitaty of life and higher tier civilizations.

Racism is a means of asserting one's own place in the world, nothing more. It is no more unnatural than two different dogs barking at each other or two unrelated cats clawing each other in the face. Every living being can only truly relate to that which is like itself. Suppressing this natural urge is basically just suicide.

At best, people overcome their racism in a society where you don't have to define yourself by your bare skin because you have nothing else. Where people define themselves by their wealth, racism takes second place. (Unless you are Jewish, in which case, according to the Talmud, all non-Jews are not even other people to you, but inferior animals).

I think it would be an interesting social experiment to found a settlement where everyone has to have the same name. For example, they all have to be called Bob. No matter how old, young, poor, rich, smart, stupid, black, white, male, female, crazy they are, they all have to be called Bob. That would be an extreme common denominator and would force people to relate to each other despite their insurmountable differences. You couldn't say "I'm going to punch Bob in the face today" either, but would first have to describe which Bob you mean and there would always be an inhibition to harm another Bob because you are a Bob yourself.
