I just discovered that NPCs are unable to pause time or they're so bad at it that they can't do it long enough to notice, this also might explain why they have no internal monologue.

If you are not a normie npc you should easily be able to focus on a second clock and have a (100+ words normal pacing)20 second long conversation with your internal monologue before it shows 1 second has passed, you should also be able to see events 20+ seconds into the future and the present simultaneously through all your senses .

For example I am looking at myself typing right now while also seeing the post succesful screen simultaneously, it doesn't mean I can predict the future it just means I perceive a large segment of time simultaneously, I have inner thoughts and monologue tied to my body and outer thoughts tied to my inner thoughts

I can you see your future reply and ponder on it but I can only channel my body to respond to it after my body and inner thoughts have observed the post.

Surely you have outer thoughts too or am I the only one that's not an NPC?

My "inner monologue" is more of a visual thing than a verbal thing. I don't really think in language and it takes me time to think about the words to describe my thoughts. But I can visualize scenarios and compare/contrast plausible outcomes in essentially the way you're describing.

Where does that put me on the NPC scale?

An NPC would lack thought process, but an audible schizo head voice is just one way of having one. Another is having the inner dialogue silently just moving your lips, like I do.

The schizo head voice crowd has voices that act like individual entities with agency. Lips flappers imagine a dialog between themselves and other people, but it's deliberate and curated.

The schizo head voice people also tend to have more vivid visual imagination than the lip flappers, but they both have it.

All things considered, real NPC's can only be discerned from mRNA killshot status.
