H.G. Wells btw. Anyways I never read the book. I used to watch the movie A LOT as a kid tho. Watched it again recently and it is a bit korny at parts but still very good. A bit of a romantic drama tied in with sci if. The man just really wanted to save the only woman he ever loved.
