>>510195958Well the internet does that. Most news is on X or /pol/ or other platforms long before it ever hits the news. If the news agencies want to appear in any way relevant they're forced to report on what's going on because the internet already knows.
Most of them don't even employ investigative reporters anymore.
But when the internet gets very loud about something they're outright forced to report.
It usually takes them around 48 hours to do it.
If they don't report on issues that are already loud on the internet they're guilty in covering it up. They look entirely illegitimate. And what if one news agency reports on the happenings but some others don't then it looks even worse.
