I never really understood the chink hate. I do think most of them are soulless subhumans who eat anything they see, but all the chinks I personally know are mostly quiet and keep to themselves. Which is really what most minorities should be doing in any country they live in.

Because they came so dramatically fast (millions in a single year in places with small populations) and are everywhere in everyone’s spaces rather than say, Mexicans, who fill a physical labor role. Every other immigrant group would concentrate in certain areas but their numbers ultimately weren’t that big. Indians fucking exploded everywhere almost overnight and they’re not all poor and needy, a significant amount of them are the most arrogant wealthy douche bags you’ll ever meet. Everything about Indians is abrasive, including their smell, especially their smell. It’s impossible to be around Indians and not notice the extreme differences. I’m South Asian, but not Indian or paki. I’m guessing this happened because the internet put a magnifying glass on how arrogant and aggro Indians can be in terms of their own culture and intolerance to things beyond it. The scams and other stuff too does not help. They tend to be self loathing and blame other south Asians to scapegoat whenever accountability is required. Overall it’s just the perfect storm

It's really unprecedented how fast their reputation has nosedived. As recent as 5-10 years ago they were just the "quirky and funny-sounding but harmless hard-working immigrant" to pretty much everyone. Sure the call center/scammer stereotype was already there but there was always kind of the implicit distinction that it was only Indians in India doing that. Now even reddit-tier normies are basically open about hating them. I guess it's just a combination of real life exposure hitting critical levels + Indians getting access to the internet en masse.

I'd say the reason Canada was hit so hard by their shit is because Canada's population wasn't very large. so importing 10million jeets vs the 30 some million that Canada had before, had a major and rapid impact.
They're everywhere. But Canada does have a couple hot spots with way more jeets than other cities. Brampton is maybe the biggest example of a hive city of jeets.
I have a Russian friend I work with. He told me something that made me both angry and sad.

Thought experiment: give a chink and an Indian access to bunch of secrets related to the F-35. Everybody knows how much this would benefit china. But india? What would india do with those secrets? What could india do with them? The secrets are completely useless to india- they don't really want to make planes and even though they say they do deep down they know they can't. A few years ago when western countries started importing them by the millions. Canada got hit the worst but they're far from the only ones. The UK started around Brexit. The US has been slowly importing them for decades and just ramped up recently. The tech industry is (supposedly) in shambles with mass layoffs and we are still importing H1-B Indians by the boatload.
The H1-B visa is supposed to be used only when there is a shortage of US citizens in a field. Instead it's used to replace Americans in a field that has a glut of unemployed workers. I mean, 2/3rds of Silicon valley tech workers are foreign born. Most of them Indian. That's fucking insane, no? Who supports this?

I don't know how how something so unpopular is so widespread. It's a bipartisan thing, too.
