The idea that you're supposed to like at least some previous partners after the relationships ended is woman thinking. For women, there is always at least some men, especially the man who took her virginity or the guy who she had a lot of fun with but he actually didn't want anything serious, it was just some summer fun to him and he's let her down gently and parted ways. She will still think of those moments, and she will compare all her next "partners" to the best aspects of those people. Because women don't use reason here, with "emotional" thinking, it's simply, well I got with a guy who told me he made 300k a year, this other guy might've been broke as a joke but he was 6' 4" with a chiselled jaw, so they "think" well I've had these things before, I can have them again. Blind to probabilities, only feelings. Anyway whether you dislike an ex really depends on what happened. If she cheated and turned your children against you, you don't have to like her. It's not just that a relationship ends, it's how it ends. I've left on good terms with most women but there were still a few that were just really petty.
