Why do I need expensive meat in my diet again?

the "complete protein" meme isn't real because seeds need to have complete proteins on their own to grow. beans are a seed just like eggs are a seed

What it they don't need the same amino acids in their seeds as humans need in their entire bodies?

a lot of the steps in protein synthesis is catalyzed by specific enzymes. we can get these enzymes through diet if we do not produce enough of them ourselves. seeds have those enzymes to synthesize "essential" amino acids

Because you ain't a hypothetical average creature and are much more complex than what this pseudoscientific bullcrap can admit to itself.

There's nothing quite as blinding as thinking you know.

because meat has cholesterol (very important) and doesn't have phytoestrogens that make you a subhuman asian. basically its safer to eat meat than any plant material

Because human beings have desires that go past "does this theoretically fulfill my nutritional needs".

your liver produces cholesterol. dietary cholesterol is almost always in excess

Bullshit, your cells make their own enzymes. Any protein you eat, which is what enzymes are made from, get broken down into amino acids which are then used by your cells to make enzymes.
Anonymous (ID: BH8sZJAw) Poland No.510261588 [Report]
>>510261511
True. All proteins must be broken down into aminoacids before they can be used by the body to build anything.

your body also produces testosterone
your body also produces collagen.
you could make that argument about absolutely anything but everyone's body produces different amounts and as you age it becomes increasingly important to get it from dietary sources

your body does not make enzymes if it doesn't need to. it is a very efficient and adaptive machine. that is why lactase production stops once you stop consuming it long enough. vegan cultures can produce those enzymes very well compared to western societies that evolved to just eat those proteins instead of synthesizing them
Anonymous (ID: Qnr4kMkQ) United States No.510261783 [Report]

yes but most people worrying about this are not old enough to worry about it. it is very difficult to live without animal products once you become old enough that you notice a decline in your health

I'm not disputing this. I'm a drunk so I have an annoyingly high amount of alcohol dehydrogenase meaning it takes a lot to get me wasted. If I didn't drink I'd have very little of it.

how do you think plants are able to develop sexual gametes like seeds and flowers? through sex hormones. it's evolutionarily conserved among plants and animals

Don't buy roasted sesame. It's bitter and hard. All natural raw is the way.

lately i've been wondering about why our brain gets so much pleasure from poisons even though it fights the poison at the same time. ethanol leads to an opioid response in your brain, mushrooms and some venoms make you trip, and i suppose the burning you feel from spicy foods is also a defense reaction. all of this causes your body to start fighting for survival while your brain is having a great time. very strange contradiction

If you get it directly from seeds, not in a bottle then is actually not bad for you.
