>>510269783As an adult, you're unlikely to get them, unless you get infected by your (or others') kids. Kids get them because they put their hands (and other things) in their mouths, and get dirty doing kid stuff outdoors, and don't always exercise good hygiene. I have gotten them in my adult life somehow, probably from walking around barefoot outside like a weird little hobbit. I've had them twice. The first time, basic over the counter pyrantel cleared me right up. The second time, I must have gotten some roided up, freakish, medication-resistant variety, because ivermectin (both horse pase AND pills from the pharmacy), fenbendazole (horse paste), and pyrantel all failed. What helped was a longer term approach using a tincture of black walnut hulls, wormwood, and clove. It sounds like hippy shit, but that's what worked.
