Here are some more unexplainable facts to ask about: 1) the overall density of the Moon is almost the same as its crustal density, implying a very unusual inner structure. 2) lunar crust is significantly thicker on average than the one here on Earth, even only avg continental crust, which is anomalous considering the Moon's tiny relative size
3) the far side of the Moon's largest crater is roughly the same size as the Near side's smallest Mare (igneous rock filled craters allegedly), zero rational explanation for this if it was always tidally locked, really brings into question if they are all kinetic impact scars at all considering the width to depth ratios.
I would say that ChatGPT is very poor in logical reasoning when any amount of complexity is involved, it gave mutually conflicting statements in two sequential answers on multiple occasions.
