that has nothing to do with the shutter speed, this was a 1/8000th shutter speed supposedly, which again is not the correct speed to actually take this picture. if the speed is too slow you won't see anything at all, if it's too fast you'd have multiple pictures of it

I have a couple f1.4 lenses and to use them with or without flash in bright light i have to put the shutter around 1/8000th or else its white out time. Without flash all the way up to 1/32000 shutter speed.

The Sony a1 has a maximum mechanical shutter speed of 1/8000 sec and a maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/32000 sec. It can shoot continuously at up to 30 frames per second with the electronic shutter in certain modes and with specific settings

it was a bright day so you're going to be running high shutter speeds if you want a fast aperture. Especially if you are shooting burst mode. You just point and shoot and hold down the trigger, spam burst capture.

That's literally how i photograph my toddler outdoors. Wide aperture, godox ad200pro handheld or ad600 on a stand. High speed sync 1/8000-1/12000. Makes for gorgeous photographs.

1/250th with my prime lenses in bright light would be like f8+. I bought these lenses to utilize their beautiful bokeh. I'm gonna use it.

If you're photographing a subject in direct sunlight with a proper camera (and not taking a cell phone picture like a shitskin) its pretty standard practice to lower iso and raise shutter speed in order to normalize brightness, since depth of field/aperture are generally a part of the shot composition and not open to adjustment.
