The movie actually had a fantastic domestic opening but the international numbers are awful. Massive blockbusters like this film need international markets to do well. Realistically unless this movie retains incredible legs it's probably looking to finish under 600M, which would be beneath what a lot of people were predicting. Break even point probably somewhere around 550M so it's possible the movie doesn't lose money at the very list, but either way isn't gearing up to be a big success

The movie was ass, it's worse than Man of Steel. It's so bad that 20% of the movie is him laying on the ground hurt or on a stretcher/seat.

The dog's contribution in the 3rd act makes Superman look dumb and weak at the same time. Lex Luthor had these cameras which follow the fights between Superman and Superman's clone. Without these cameras the clone can't fight at all since Lux and team are treating him like a Pokemon, barking orders at him. What's worse you first see these Cameras when the clone is in a full mecha suit. Superman completely ignores them and assumes they have nothing to do with the fucking robot suit he's fighting.

Superman seemingly struggled against weak enemies throughout the movie and often was indecisive in obvious situations.

Lex also caused about 35 billion in property damage by ripping the city in half and it would be easy to connect back to him too.

It's garbage movie and written by morons. I wouldn't be shocked if the script was far worse than the movie itself since it was mostly fixed during production.

Spoderman is a drastically different sort of character. His whole creation was as a more relatable down to earth human sort of hero, a teenager a younger audience could relate to who dealt with normal people problems and stuggled to be a hero as an intentional contrast to the older sort of superhero archetype that superman exemplifies and they even got pushback from the marvel brass for the idea. Teenagers were supposed to be sidekicks, like robin. In 2006 I watched the new superman. It was a superman movie made after all the superman movies that had come out in my childhood and before I was even born. Since then, they have released how many superman reboots? Why should I go watch the 10th superman reboot? I don't fucking care. I'm tired of capeshit.
