build this for your cell phone (most common way they target you and spy/listen in on the masses) then build a Faraday box large enough to hold the sealed tubes using Faraday fabric sold here:

get creative, just make sure it is sound proof and signal proof.this is what it takes to silence your cell phone mic because of audio enhancement software and variables implemented through back doors to record sounds even when your cell is turned off and inside a Faraday bag (which should scare the shit out of people)
test for yourself in how difficult it is to silence these mics in cell phones and other devices: iPads, Android tablets, Alexas, whatever with microphones short of de-soldering and removing them from the board entirely which is not practical for most people.
