Several branches of the federal government have entire armies of men whose entire careers are dedicated to financial crime. They are much smarter than you, and work in tandem rather than alone. They have the full cooperation of every non-criminal organization, including financial institutions.
There’s also electronic surveillance out the ass. They know exactly where someone under investigation is based on their cell phone, and now the 5g modem in their car. They know every move that’s being made.
The only way to beat them is low tech by burying money in the woods. It seems counterintuitive, but it’s absolutely right. Unless they have a helicopter (or drone) following you around for hours, and someone tails you for hours down the interstate, you can slip off into an area with no phone service. They can’t track you because there’s nothing to track.
Basically you go to a national forest, go off-trail, and bury your ill-gotten cash (or whatever you’re hiding) in an indiscreet spot. How would anyone find it? How would they even know where to look? Who would suspect that you even did that? How could they possibly know?
They couldn’t. I’m not saying this is a 100% guarantee. But look at the Sam Bankman-Fried Jew. He stole $8 billion. When he gets out of prison, how much money will he have? Well, $8 billion minus 25 years is fucking $0. Instead of a $35 million mansion he could have lived in a “modest” $20 million dollar one and buried $15 million as an insurance policy because he knew he was commuting fraud.
