They are basically ethno-city states that are cropping up in the US, only really becoming an issue and relevant since whites are doing it. They mostly aim to be independent from the wider American culture and very insular/self reliant. Sometimes they make an emphasis on using religion like variations of Christianity or Asatru to sidestep legal issues, sometimes they use other means. As far as I am aware, the only "intentional communities" to actually be successful are the ones that white's make.
