If you are given a choice either to get fucked in the ass daily for a scrap of food or freeze to death, the choice to get fucked in the ass is neither willing nor just. You share the losses when you get kicked out of the company during a reccession, you almost never share the profits especially if you don't fight for a better wage - look at the strike history in US or Europe. Starting a new business places you in a position of a CEO - that position demands highly-qualified labor and should be paid accordingly, but it sure doesn't mean that you are entitled to a quarter of all the labor your workers produce.
I always am amazed how large swathes of people subscribe to this "temporarily poor millionaire" mindset.
