The dollar standard is done. America's preparing to inflate away its debts, and foreign nations, pensions, hedge funds, etc are holding huge dollar reserves. It's time to move that wealth anywhere else. I prefer something less imaginary, personally, I moved my 401k to silver back in February ($PSLV).

Crypto only works if you have fiat to give it value. Physical goods always outweigh digital because the second any of these digital systems fail your "valuable" digital goods become worthless over night. Enjoy getting absolutely giga-cucked when this all comes crashing down.

That's has nothing to do with Bitcoin.

If you bought at any point below that orange line at the top and held, you are in profit. If you bought above that line (in the last half hours) you are, worst case scenario, at -0.29%.
Virtually 100% of all wallets holding Bitcoin as of right now are in profit.

Bitcoin isn't like a stock or commodity, you don't have to worry about fundamentals, revenue, or markets. It's a currency so its limit is whatever the total amount of currency in the world is, and since most governments just print currency out of thin air its unlimited. >WHO THE FUCK IS BUYING THIS PIECE OF SHIT
unironically no one

this fake price is created by whales that have secret contracts with eachother to trade certain amount of bitcoin back and forth between eachother at certain prices
If you see this graph and have a brain you know that buying into this is suicidal.
This is the same exact situation that the housing market is in.
No volume, no price discovery, and the first little crisis that happens shatters the market.

the minute that enough of the niggercattle try to sell at those prices to the point it competes with whales selling to niggercattle the price will crash.
These prices of for niggercattle to buy at, not sell at.
The niggercattle are brainwashed to be very resistant to selling - they have lots of jewish hopes and dreams to be rich and win their freedom in the casino.
So the whales (jewish bankers) have quite on opportunity to fleece the dumb niggercattle sheep.
And the bitcoin banks charge psychotically extortionate fees for cashing out.

such a fucking scam holy fuck
one thing is for sure, 95%+ of the "investors" will get absolutely boned

it's something too complicated for retards to understand
so it's a goldmine once the jews hype it up
the goys will kill themselves working to get bitcoin, and the best part is you take all their money in the crash, so they worked for free

what we should be paying attention to is the absolute deterioration of humanity.
subhumans believe any lie.
that's where jews get their power, from subhumans that believe and act on the lies the jews tell them.
the real problem is the subhumans, the jews are the second problem.
ever single one of both groups has to go for humanity to survive.

Gold is a soft, dense, and malleable transition metal with the chemical symbol Au and atomic number 79. It's a precious metal that's slightly orange-yellow in color and highly non-reactive, making it rust-proof. Gold is a good conductor of heat and electricity, and can be made into thread due to its pliable nature. It's often combined with other metals to form alloys. Gold has been used as a store of value and currency for thousands of years.

If you graph the BTC price against the S&P 500, you'll see that the two are inexorably linked. This is due to the trader market co-opting crypto as another asset, buying and selling to turn a profit instead of actually producing value in the market. It's a sign that nobody actually has faith in the American monetary system, we're all desperately clinging to anything that'll keep us above water. We are where the USSR was in 1989. I know it's bad, you know it's bad, but we all just stare at the TV and watch.

Bitcoin's Lightning Network settles transactions in seconds and has the ability to handle many times more transactions than MC/Visa.

It's not perfect (sometimes it takes two or three tries to find a path to create a transaction) but it works as fast as the centralized networks, and because it's decentralized it has more than enough capacity to handle the entire world.

this is the most retarded misconception of the bitcoiner. bitcoin is the ultimate fiat. some guy literally created it out of nothing in 2009. its backed by nothing. it produces nothing. its enforced by nothing. the only way to cash it out is to buy a useful currency with it, like dollars or euros or francs--you know, currencies where you can easily purchase things, currencies backed by the power of the US government and its military. and i have another mind-shattering revelation: gold is also fiat.

the mechanism of matching trades in btc is the whole blockchain churning. miners are not just mining. they are providing the services that a stock exchange provides in a p2p format. all the cryptofags are their own exchange.

each bitcoin requires more mining than the last. the cost of running the exchange increases with every passing day. eventually the cost of electricity per bitcoin is the real concern.

if it takes 100k in electricity to mine a bitcoin worth 99k, why mine? if nobody is mining, the exchange stops functioning. trades can't happen.

SOMEONE will have to mine BTC at a loss just to keep the exchange running. there is no built in system to reward them for this. they must become something along the lines of marketmakers in regular finance.

this is why you see big finance guys trying to start their own exchanges or create new BTC derivatives that trade like regular markets. a crypto exchange is fundamentally incongruous with the whole fucking idea of crypto.

the ultranerd commies i knew believed 10yrs ago that BTC would fail because of this reality and that other coins would last longer and eventually become the main coin.

this didn't happen because these technocommies see crypto as a cultural revolution but everybody else throwing money at them and blowing smoke up their ass think it's tulips and just expect to make money on tulips.

Plus mining is not something really easy.
I have a friend who got millions on BTC but not as trader. He sells mining tools for mining farms to get higher output from GPUs and to keep them working in case of problems.
So the mining farm not only pays for electricity it also pays for software keeping mining ongoing, for place to keep mining, for cooling the mines (this is also a big problem for miners as these GPUS get really hot and if someone has a farm of 10000GPUs then imagine every single one of them heating up to 60-80oC)

So yes, it will crash eventually when they mine the last one and miners will be needed to keep up the network but get nothing out of it.

Though I think they will add quantity to BTC to keep it running if it happens.

between ai surveillance and the normie adoption of crypto, climate activists might be completely ignoring the actual elephant in the room. I bet it's already way over 10% of the worlds total computation.

This is why BTC will eventually be worth more than 1 million per BTC. Supply is limited, new investors are still flowing in and there simply is not enough to sell without price increase. Continuous price increase just means that no one is selling. More people are sure the value will increase, less there is in circulation and more value will increase. This is endless cycle, people where expecting crash like every cycle, but it didn't come which means this is lowest level and price will keep increasing. FOMO is extreme and will just get worse. It's a money printing machine just like USD.

What purpose does gold or any stocks, currencies or such serve? Let's take palantir stock for example, it would take roughly century or more for them to justify current market value. It's just a game. USA government is printing new dollars as fast as they can. Value is not based on anything, it's completely detached from reality. What is its current purpose is to just build wealth for those who understand that it's all just a game. BTC is just a force against inflation, more there is inflation, more BTC value will increase which means more USD flows into BTC. It is just instrument of transferring and keeping value in something based on trust and global need to fight against inflation caused by fiat printing. It's counterforce of inflation.

I just use 1757 shares of IBIT = 1 BTC. This fluctuates constantly, but not by a whole lot.
Historically there is a +/- 1.5% fluctuation from that 1757 base.

NAV here means number of bitcoins held divided by number of shares

$105k / 1757 = ~$59.76 per share
$500k / 1757 = ~$284.64 per share
$1mil / 1757 = ~$569.29 per share

Actual custody is for retards.

Bitcoin failed because it's obsolete tech. Nobody is trading in bitcoins because those transactions cost too much, they're trading in bitcoin options which completely goes against the point or bitcoin. That means the actual value of bitcoin right now is 0 and it will at some point return to that value.

For a little while you could use bitcoin on steam, dell, and many other places then everyone realized it's value is way too unstable and now you can't use it anywhere. You can literally only buy it and convert it to cash and then use cash to get what you want. Also every supposedly revolutionary thing about it was either the same stuff a credit card does or that cash does for you.

>WHO THE FUCK IS BUYING THIS PIECE OF SHIT AT THIS PRICE? CAN'T THIS TULIP MANIA FINALLY END OR DUMP TO 10K SO I COULD BUY?
“Mining” bitcoin, required a huge amount of computer processing power, and if you extrapolate the processing power, over the number of individuals mining the bitcoin, all over the world, you would likely wind up with a giant supercomputer.
The first question, is whether you were just “mining” “pre-engineered equations”, or where you assisting someone, or dome group, with massive amounts of processing power that entity needed to “solve a problem or very complex equation”.
It has also been mentioned that information may have been hidden in the blockchain.
If information was hidden, some group may be trying to acquire the specific “bitcoins”, needed to determine that information, but to do so, they may need to randomly purchase bitcoins till they purchase the right ones.
This would necessitate spending money till you find the correct bitcoins, so presumably, someone really intent on getting the information wants it, and they have very deep pockets.
There also might be a bidding war amongst multiple groups with deep pockets trying to acquire the information.

We're 8 months into the post halving bull run. The last one during covid lasted 400 days including a 7 or 8 week summer slump. If the timeline is similar then that means there's about 4 months left. In other words, if alt season hasn't happened by now, it probably isn't happening at all this cycle since it's mostly institutional money coming in and they're only buying BTC. Retail doesn't have nearly the cash as previous cycles because we're all fucking broke now

10k?
No.
It will slide back to 80, maybe 60 if the shtf.
And when it starts to climb again that's the point you have to wait for. But maybe it will be just around 100k, who knows? That's just casino, over time it will worth more and more, but timing shit like this is just about luck. Might as well buy now and forget it for a couple of years.

>Wasn't lightning network (and all layer 2 chains) a massive flop?
There's an entire network based on lightning that is recreating decentralized versions of all major apps and social media. There's a decentralized Twitter, a decentralized YouTube, a decentralized Pinterest, a decentralized Facebook.
All of this uses lightning. When you "like" a post or picture or video, it sends satoshis to the content creator. The fee structure of lightning channels means that sending micro Bitcoin transactions is basically free, and instant.
You haven't been invited to this network because you have no Bitcoin.
But it exists and it's blowing up

The people who bought will have more money than they can imagine.
Think if you had bought apple stock early on. This is even bigger.
I think each Bitcoin is worth at least 1 million, all said. Whether that’s this year or in ten years, I can see it. The people who got into crypto were into a world changing event and will own the entire planet. Think about it.

Nobody ”hedge” using Bitcoin. It’s a speculative asset, more speculative than the stock market. Everyone who owns Bitcoin does it in the hope to make millions/billions. It’s a speculative bubble that will implode to zero.

Literally turning down ownership of a goldmine in belief that an IOU will surpass the mines' value. But hey, atleast you chose the green alternative now as Volvo is a toy car company.

microstrategy and their copydoers only buy when bitcoin price is high, they use bitcoin as collateral "we have x amount of bitcoin valued at z, lends us some money" which is only possible when they are on profit.
If they sell they would take loses, they've gotten to a point where all they can do is just hold forever.

In my country a lot of people are buying it. It outpaced gold and property (land) in profit. People here have this mindset that getting rich is just a skill to be learned. Donald Trump's book was a big hit because with it you are able to learn to secrets of being rich. They don't reflect here, Just copy what other people are already doing. So, If e.g. I have 20% profit on my Crypto portfolio, I am supposed to give business advice to other people because I made so much money this year. They would consider me smart. I still suggest buying Crypto. It's a ponzi scam but people just love gambling and investing into the next hot thing.
