the USA doesn't make anything anymore, so no. it's too expensive to rebuild factories and pay workers good wages. Trump is delusional if he thinks manufacturing is ever coming back. no one wants to work on a factory line for $15/hr.

I remember about twenty years ago all of the conservative talking heads saying stuff like "we can't be isolationist" "we need free trade" without giving an explanation of why or anything. It's too bad that these people who were so wrong have never had to be held accountable.

Dont worry, turmp will impose tarrifs on steel and copper. That surely will help the manufacturing industry.

The jobs aren't coming back, the prices aren't going down, and the immigrants are never going back.

You guys were back on track. What happened between 2016 and 2020? Whoever was in charge back then really dropped the ball.

Maybe motherfuckers don't want to spend $60,000 + the ever-increasing insurance on a fucking shitbox commuter car anymore. I've already seen people who have the means for multiple cars go down to just one because it makes more sense. The era of 15 different toys being on people's lawns is over perhaps, good grow the fuck up.

Comparative advantage, bro! Just give up, competition isn't efficient. Let someone else do it, and focus on something else. Like ODing on fentanyl.
