Researchers have created the

>world's first mRNA-based vaccine against a deadly, antibiotic-resistant bacterium

and they did it using the same platform developed for COVID-19 vaccines.

Platform is exactly the same, you only change the genetic code in it, based on what you want to make it against.

Corona virus:
-make it produce mRNA that produces spike protein so the body will decide corona virus is foreign particle

Some bacteria:
-make it produce mRNA that produces bacterial cell wall antigen

The vaccine developed by the team from

>Tel Aviv University

is an mRNA-based vaccine delivered via lipid nanoparticles, similar to the COVID-19 vaccine.

Already in 2023, the researchers developed a unique method for producing the bacterial protein within a human cell in a way that prompts the immune system to recognize it as a genuine bacterial protein and thus learn to defend against it.

It just hasnt been tested until now.

Tested on rats

In animal models, the researchers demonstrated that it is possible to effectively vaccinate against the bacterial disease with just a single dose.

They did not explain why corona vaccine was three doses.

"We weren't even involved in corona vaccine research", Tel Aviv University said
