The man who wrote so much about capital was always short of it.

It's incredible how many believe his ideas would end world hunger, but in reality, Marx couldn't end hunger in his own home.

Worst of all, his wife, the daughter of a baron, left a respectable aristocrat for a man who barely bathed, of her own free will. Little did she know that she would live such a miserable life, constantly getting drunk to support her manchild husband. He didn't even have enough money to bury his own children. One of them was left to rot in one of the rooms until they raised the money for the funeral.
